A zenithal projection reveals the secrets of the Solar System to visitors as they sit reclined on a revolving 6m platform. An 8.5m diameter projection onto the floor allows visitors to “walk” on the interior of the Earth. 9 “hot spots” (computer animations triggered by the public’s movements) teach visitors about the planet’s internal mechanisms (subduction, accretion, magnetism ...) |
Visitors can investigate the phenomena that shape our landscapes using a touch-screen table. Visitors explore the different cycles of Earth’s history and the appearance of life on our planet with the aid of a Globoccès (a spherical screen 1.54 m in diameter).
