Planet Observer: an interactive voyage around the Earth.

Unique in France, Planet Observer invites visitors to come on a virtual real-time voyage to explore from outer space all the different landscapes of our planet and those of volcanic regions in particular.

In order to make this exploration of the Earth’s beauties and the fragilities even more special “The Planet Unveiled“ will be presented in 2010 in a completely new room with even better image definition and greater interactivity with our guides.

Situated at the centre of our visitors' rooms, The Planet Unveiled offers telescopic tiers that provide optimal visibility and excellent comfort.

3 major developments :

  • A navigator image data base 5 times greater than in the previous version and more recent images to give an updated view of the Earth’s surface.
  • A remarkably accurate digital reproduction of the Earth’s landscape.
  • Intricate navigation with high-definition digital video projection.
