A brail guidebook is available (abridged or full version) at the reception area on level –2 *, it can also be consulted at the Documentation Centre.
Free audio-guide available. *
Four tactile areas are organised along the tour with signs in brail and black characters, accessible for all (including visitors in wheelchairs).
Multi-sensorial activities available in different areas along the tour: the Great Crater, scale model of the Chaîne des Puys, pyroclastic flow ramp, the meteorite…

Groups and students (5 paying visitors minimum)

Escorted tour*
Our hosts and hostesses will meet the group upon arrival and accompany visitors all along their adventures (half or full day), making sure they enjoy the visit at their own pace.
15 disabled persons maximum – duration: 5 hours maximum (excluding lunch).

Educational visit*
Complements the self-guided tour. The educational tour, supervised by a guide specialised in Earth Sciences, allows for a more interactive approach to the scenography and can be adapted to each school level.
15 disabled persons maximum – duration: 1h15.

Workshop/visit “Volcanoes, inside and out”*

Ensured by a scientific guide, this approach to the scenographic displays, combined with hands-on experiments, allows visitors to discover the world of volcanoes through a whole range of sensations.
10 disabled persons maximum – duration: 2h.

* There is a charge for this service, accessible by reservation only and subject to availability.
