Cette figure embl\u00e9matique de nos nuits estivales est compos\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00e9toile <strong>V\u00e9ga<\/strong> dans la constellation de la <strong>Lyre<\/strong>, l\u2019\u00e9toile <strong>Deneb<\/strong> dans le <strong>Cygne<\/strong> et l\u2019\u00e9toile <strong>Alta\u00efr<\/strong> dans l\u2019<strong>Aigle<\/strong>. Il culmine tr\u00e8s haut dans le ciel et semble \u00eatre travers\u00e9 par un ruban laiteux qui n\u2019est autre que la voie lact\u00e9e, notre galaxie que nous voyons par la tranche. Suivez ce chemin c\u00e9leste jusque vers l\u2019horizon sud et vous pourrez alors retrouver de part et d\u2019autre la constellation du <strong>Sagittaire<\/strong>, \u00e0 gauche et la constellation du <strong>Scorpion<\/strong> \u00e0 droite, dont l\u2019\u00e9toile principal <strong>Antar\u00e8s<\/strong> est facilement reconnaissable \u00e0 sa couleur rouge\/orang\u00e9e. Pour compl\u00e9ter ce tableau, essayez de rep\u00e9rer au z\u00e9nith la constellation d\u2019<strong>Hercule<\/strong> qui sera accompagn\u00e9 de la couronne bor\u00e9ale dont la forme en arc de cercle est facilement observable.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Quelles plan\u00e8tes au rendez-vous ?<\/h2>\n<p>Alors que V\u00e9nus et Mercure nous ont accompagn\u00e9s en d\u00e9but de soir\u00e9e pendant ces derni\u00e8res semaines, les deux plan\u00e8tes les plus proches de notre \u00e9toile se situent maintenant entre la Terre et le Soleil et ne sont donc plus visibles dans le ciel du soir. Vous pourrez n\u00e9anmoins observer <strong>Mars<\/strong> juste apr\u00e8s le coucher du Soleil, mais son observation sera rendue difficile par la pr\u00e9sence des lueurs du jour et de sa position tr\u00e8s basse sur l\u2019horizon Ouest.<\/p>\n<p>Il sera par contre possible d\u2019observer les deux g\u00e9antes gazeuse <strong>Saturne<\/strong> et <strong>Jupiter<\/strong> qui se l\u00e8veront respectivement face \u00e0 l\u2019Ouest entre la fin de soir\u00e9e et le d\u00e9but de nuit.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Des rencontres c\u00e9lestes<\/h2>\n<p>Le rapprochement visuel de deux ou plusieurs astres sur la vo\u00fbte c\u00e9leste, appel\u00e9 <em>conjonction<\/em>, est toujours un moment fascinant pour l\u2019observateur. Plusieurs de ces rendez-vous auront lieu ce mois-ci. On commence le<strong> 3 ao\u00fbt<\/strong> en seconde partie de soir\u00e9e, avec un joli rapprochement entre la <strong>Lune<\/strong> et <strong>Saturne<\/strong>, suivi du <strong>8 ao\u00fbt<\/strong> ou l\u2019astre s\u00e9l\u00e8ne aura rendez-vous avec la plus grosse plan\u00e8te du Syst\u00e8me Solaire, en d\u00e9but de nuit. Le dernier rendez-vous c\u00e9leste de ce mois aura lieu le <strong>24 ao\u00fbt<\/strong> entre notre satellite naturel et <strong>Antar\u00e8s<\/strong>, l\u2019\u00e9toile principal du Scorpion surnomm\u00e9e aussi \u00ab\u00a0la rivale de Mars\u00a0\u00bb.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>Quel est l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nement du mois d&rsquo;ao\u00fbt ?<\/h2>\n<h3>La pluie d\u2019\u00e9toiles filantes des Pers\u00e9ides<\/h3>\n<p>Comme chaque ann\u00e9e entre le 23 juillet et le 20 ao\u00fbt, la Terre traverse un nuage de poussi\u00e8res laiss\u00e9 par le passage de la com\u00e8te Swift-Tuttle. Quand ces petits grains de la taille d\u2019un grain de sable ou d\u2019un petit pois p\u00e9n\u00e8trent l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re terrestre, ils se consument et cr\u00e9ent une \u00e9toile filante.<\/p>\n<p>Les Pers\u00e9ides sont la pluie d\u2019\u00e9toiles filantes la plus connue de l\u2019ann\u00e9e. Le maximum de cette pluie aura lieu dans la nuit <strong>du 13 au 14 ao\u00fbt<\/strong>. Pour les observer, attendez la seconde partie de nuit et orientez votre regard vers la constellation de <strong>Pers\u00e9e<\/strong> tous en vous \u00e9loignant de la pollution lumineuse. Si certains m\u00e9t\u00e9ores peuvent \u00eatre brillants, la plupart sont peu lumineux et ne seront visibles que dans un ciel loin de la lumi\u00e8re des villes.
