Le meilleur crit\u00e8re de classification est encore le type de mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9mis par le volcan. Si chaque \u00e9ruption garde son style, ces classifications sont pratiques pour d\u00e9crire le comportement d\u2019un volcan en \u00e9ruption.
