Back-to-school events !

On Saturdays 6 September and 11 October, come and enjoy a unique experience at the Vulcania planetarium. Discover Mesmerica, an immersive experience by award-winning artist and composer James Hood. Designed for all audiences, this 360° show combines enchanting soundscapes and hypnotic 3D animations to promote deep relaxation. A timeless audiovisual journey to be enjoyed from the comfort of your seat.

The Fulldome Festival takes you on a 360° journey under the planetarium dome: 12 full-dome works programmed over two evenings, where science, creativity and technology come together for a totally immersive experience. This 4th edition also gives you a say: vote for your favourite and contribute to the audience award, alongside the professional jury of the APLF (Association des Planétariums de Langue Française).
Pass holders can register for free (subject to availability).

On 4 October, Vulcania’s planetarium will be lit by candlelight for two Candlelight concerts. First, let yourself be carried away by Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, then rock out to the hits of Coldplay & Imagine Dragons. A musical and sensory interlude in the heart of the volcanoes.

Faced with the environmental emergency, this immersive experience confronts you with the most spectacular and disturbing manifestations of climate change : storms, floods, earthquakes, mega-fires, melting ice and volcanic eruptions.
