Vulcania has been awarded the “Tourisme et Handicap” (Tourism and Disability) label for visitors with visual impairments, and offers a range of adapted services to make your visit as comfortable as possible:
Free loan of an audioguide for the duration of the visit (ID required).
There are four tactile zones throughout the tour, with captions in Braille and black script and accessible to all (including wheelchair users):
- Volcanic rocks (level 0, audio commentary)
- Model of the inside of the Earth (level -1, audio commentary)
- Model of the inside of a volcano (level -2, audio commentary)
- Meteorite (level -2)

Namazu
Dynamic attraction without commentary; the audioguide provides a description of the animation, which can be consulted beforehand, and the commentary on the pre-show helps you understand the animation.
To access Namazu, you need to: bend your knees; hold on with at least 1 hand (2 hands for children) at the front of the vehicle for the duration of the attraction; if necessary, be able to climb a 50-step staircase, walk a distance of 100 m and go down a few steps without the help of a companion.

Dragon ride 2

Machine Terre, Séismes, Exhibition “Maurice et Katia Krafft”
Accessible; information is available with the audio guide (pending for the Maurice & Katia Krafft exhibition). For “Séismes” (Earthquakes), it is preferable to visit during the presentations by Vulcania’s animators (various experiments are available).
Exposition “Volcans d’Auvergne”
Outdoor tour with models. Priority should be given to visits by Vulcania staff.
Astrodôme (Planetarium)
Film screenings with commentary and guided activities.
